Windows VISTA users!

No more will I do VISTA.  Blame Microsoft.  Too many things that I need to access in order to remove Trojans... are now more secure and I can't get access to them!  The  trojan creators love it.  They are safe from me now when they hide in those secure places.

  Microsoft is proud of how private and secure VISTA has been made.  That's why many large businesses refuse to "upgrade" to VISTA.  If you want to know more, contact me.  There is more reason than ever for you to perform regular backups of your personal data.  Otherwise you WILL eventually lose it.  Digital images, iTunes and music... say bye now, else back it up.

 

Notes: Raleigh Computer service calls cost less if you bring the computer to me. Computer house calls have a $25 surcharge for coming to your house and the repair time required is longer because of the technician time spent waiting for the computer to run diagnostic routines and other service procedures. It is inappropriate for most computer service to be performed away from the shop.

Special Raleigh Shop Offer: If no one else has tried to service the machine, and I can't help you, there will be no charge. I get a lot of machines where someone else has failed to find the hard trojans, and all the easy trojans have already been cleaned off the machine.  Those that remain can be really difficult and may take a lot of my time.

  
NOTICE: If you are one who downloads music or video files, then you are likely to have Malware / Trojan that is quite difficult and very tedious to remove. (iTunes is safe, utube and music is not.)
There is a lot of free stuff out there, but it's hard to know ahead of time if it is one of the countless traps waiting for you to invite in their trojan masked as a toolbar, screensaver or other wonderful thing.
