	As general policy I do not perform hardware service for laptop and notebook computers. Software, upgrade and data-backup issues I can handle. Call me and let's discuss it.
		Because of the lower hourly rates that I charge, I can not absorb the frequent parts breakages and time overruns that laptop hardware service usually causes. Often, the time the laptop has to stay here is extended due to waiting for parts. You would be better served by seeking service from those who regularly service laptop computers and live with the higher cost.
	Many Parts for Laptop computers:
	are proprietary and have to be ordered. many parts are easy to break when performing service. require special tools. often require special training. often require more service time than a standard computer because of the compact design and less space in which I have to work.
